The Jayhawks finished second at the Kentucky invitational. Not bad for a week in Lexington, first place in the round robin and second place at the invitational. Brett Bricker was also the second overall speaker. Nate Johnson also received a speaker award in the top 15. The final round was against Northwestern and Kansas was on the Affirmative.
Kansas PS and KQ advanced but were eliminated in the double octa-final, Kansas JW and KS made it to the octa-final round at the Las Vegas invitational (hosted by Jake Thompson, a Jayhawk himself).
